Unitex Seil-Baur
The German company Seil-Baur was founded by Abraham Weissin in October 1851 in Augsburg. In 1944, production, office space and the shop were relocated to Heggögen. From 1972 to 1988, the company actively developed its drive belt sector, and the product range was extended. With the relocation to the Lehghausen industrial estate and the construction of a modern production facility, the transition to a modern industrial plant with optimised production and administration processes was completed in 1993. Today, 30 employees work on an area of approx. 10,000 square metres. Unitex Seil Baur GmbH has been part of the global Unitex Group since January 1st, 2011. The head office of the holding company is in Scherpenzeel in the Netherlands.
